The Insurance Women’s Investment Network (IWIN) is excited to be returning to Des Moines for our fourth annual event. We are once again partnering with the CFA Society Iowa for another terrific event at the River Center with the support of Clearwater Analytics and Wellington Management. This event – Personality, Fit, Organizations – What all these things might mean to your career – will feature a presentation by Amy Kristof-Brown of the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. We look forward to re-connecting with our members in person this month!
Please join us on Thursday, October 20th at The River Center beginning with Registration at 1:30pm followed by Amy’s presentation from 2:00 – 3:00pm. Following the formal comments, we will have networking, snacks and cocktails from 3:15 – 5:00pm. Amy will share her reflections and observations on the insurance industry and lessons learned along the way in her career. Given Amy’s extensive background focused on research and interests in the field of psychology, she will dig into her insights gleaned on the compatibility or fit between individuals and their work environments. More recently in 2020, Amy took on the role of Dean of the Tippie College of Business. Amy will speak to her career path until now and the work she is conducting today to bring women who are earlier in their careers into the field of finance and insurance.
Details of how to RSVP to register for this event are below. We look forward to seeing you there!
